Where Are They Now?
Since our web site www.pruntyhorses.com
began in 2001, our horse sales have increased greatly, as have the areas
to which we have sold horses. The majority of the horses have
stayed in Nevada, with the biggest concentrations of buyers being from
the Las Vegas and Reno areas. As horse breeders, the greatest
compliment we can receive is to have repeat buyers, and for the
word-of-mouth "advertising." Thank you to all the buyers
who have contributed to the success of our web site and our horse
program. A number of the buyers have allowed us to share pictures
of themselves and their purchases. This section is a tribute to
all of you and your horses.

Two horses are owned by Tom Dobson, Reno NV.

The one he's riding is YY2006-9h "Jo Jo".
The grulla pinto is G2007-11f, "Halo".

The mare G2007-11f "Halo" (owned by Tom Dobson) was bred to a Holsteiner
stallion named Balou Bey, (left above)and had this pinto foal (above
center). The stallion is quite a jumper, and apparently, Halo is too...her
photo was featured on a soda label (above right). Weird... never would
have thought we were raising jumpers that would be on beverage bottle
labels!! Visit
http://www.haremhills.com/, their "breeding farm" website.

2007
filly, Chex Olena Patience, owned by Geri Gibbons of
Fernley, NV Date: Thu, 20 Aug 2009 Patience
is doing fabulous. I wanted a smaller horse and by gosh I've got one.
She's been with the trainer for the past 3 months and will come home the
end of this month. She's moving shoulders, hips, and laterally with just
the softest of ques. She stops on a dime and the trainer is impressed
with her natural ability. In the beginning, he felt that her body type
was too heavy and her legs too far apart to be agile and move quickly for
cutting, but she's so strong and willing that's she's a real natural. He
did find that she has a little buck in her so hopefully she'll get over it
sooner than later. I miss her and look forward to bringing her
home. Finances permitting, she'll go back to the trainer in February for
another 3 months.

Thanks so much, Marilee Foote

I thought you would like to see how great those Prunty horses
are. Here is a current picture I took today of Cade riding her. He
is 9 years old. She crawls up those rocks so well, Cade has her traveling
all over the place. Isn't she beautiful. Not shabby for a two year old!!!
Thanks again for letting us have the opportunity to own her. By the way,
we had to ditch the cowboy hat as it was really windy and it kept flying
off! Talk to you soon. Kim

a complete gentle spirit-his name is Hebrew for Peace/Calm. He
is quiet with small children and very outgoing. He out walks any
horse on the property when we go for trail rides. He is a joy
and a pleasure and our dream horse. Everyone asks where we found
such a beautiful, well behaved gentleman. We plan to start him
on cattle this fall for fall roundup and looking forward to many years
of good Ranch & Trail riding.
This
photo shows his first real trail ride out into Faye Luther Canyon.
He did PERFECT. He is just cutting his 3 year old teeth
and is still growing. You & your family raise the greatest
trail horses. Even rode him on a narrow ledge for about 1/8 mile
climbing up and then back down. He never missed a step."
"Ruby

takes to cattle
like a heat seeking missile. Phil is the trainer and loves his
horse with all his heart. Ruby is a Morgan cross and stout and
climbs mountains like a mountain goat. There is nothing she

Make Mine Monita 2010 Photo
Hi,
Becky-- I know it's been awhile but I wanted to say hello and send you an
update on Sofie. I've attached a photo of her taken last week. Because of
my crazy job situation (I've have three jobs--one research and two
teaching-- since I moved to NM) she still isn't trained, but this summer I
have all summer to work with her. Her personality has not changed at all,
she is always giving me the hairy eyeball like she thinks I am very
strange. Compared to the other two, she is very laid back. She's has a
couple of bad accidents, first tore up her shoulder, then ripped up one
leg, but she's still sound and beautiful. She toes in in the back,
although she stands correctly, so I just try to keep compensating for that
in her trims. It helps that her feet are so tough. Other than that, she is
pretty much perfect. I think she will make a great trail horse, so I'm
looking forward to finally making that happen.
