Doctor Peppered 5199820 2009 bay stallion
In September 2019, Doctor Peppered was sold to a Montana family to start their ranch horse breeding program. We have kept a number of Pepper's daughters to be broodmares and look forward to what they will bring to our program.
Doctor Peppered has continually demonstrated the kind of ability you’d expect from his bloodlines, as well as being exceptionally kind and level-headed. He’s a horse that almost anyone can ride, but he’s also got some grit for long work days. He’s solid and reliable for every kind of ranch work and for competing in town. We are finding his colts to be friendly, highly trainable, and athletic.
Pepper's sire, Smart Chic Olena, is an NRCHA Million Dollar Sire, and his get are also earners in cutting and reining, with total earnings across the three disciplines totaling over $13 million. Smart Chic Olena himself was a money earner and award winner in both the NCHA and the NRHA. Pepper's maternal grandsire, Dual Pep, sired earners of over $25 million, mostly in cutting.
